The Howard Smith Wharves under the northern end of the Story Bridge are an important cycle link that connects the (currently destroyed) New Farm section of Riverwalk to the CBD. For the last few years Brisbane City Council has been pushing proposals to redevelop the heritage listed site, which will have a major impact on its use for transport.
