The second Asia-Pacific Cycle Congress will be held on the Gold Coast from 10–13 March 2013. It will bring together some of the world’s leading cycling minds to work towards the common goal of getting more people cycling, more often.
This congress promises to be a dynamic and inspiring event focused on increasing cycling participation and encouraging the growth of a cycling culture.
Over three days, delegates will explore key themes including:
- cycle planning, safety and innovation
- education, health and behaviour change
- community, industry and tourism.
The interactive and exciting program features a highly respected line-up of international keynote and guest speakers, presentations, showcases, think tanks, poster sessions, panel debates, exhibitions and displays. Queensland’s expanding cycling infrastructure and innovation will be showcased with cycling tours and social events.
The Asia-Pacific Cycle Congress invites cycle planning experts from the academic, private and public sectors, community cycling groups, cycling suppliers, manufacturers and retailers and cycling advocates and enthusiasts to submit abstracts that align with the above themes.
