In accordance with CBD BUG’s constitution, the Annual General Meeting will be held later this month:

Time: 12:30pm – 1:30pm
Location: Brisbane Square tiered theatrette, ground floor, 266 George St

At the meeting up to three members will be elected co-convenors for 2012, and we’re seeking nominations from organised and motivated people with good written and verbal communication skills to represent Queensland’s most active cycling advocacy group.

If you fit that description (or can convince somebody else who does to step forward), please send your nominations to convenors@cbdbug.org.au by Monday, 23 January. Nominations will also be accepted from the floor at the meeting, and voting will be by members present at the meeting.

As well as formal nominations for the co-convenor positions, we’re always looking for members to help with the operations and activities of the BUG. If you have any particular skills or knowledge (legal, media, design, technical, etc) we’d also very much like to hear from you.
