October general meeting — Wednesday, 26 October

The October general meeting will be held at 12.30pm next Wednesday, 26 October in the usual tiered theatrette in the BCC library on the ground floor of Brisbane Square, 266 George Street. All members are welcome, and new members can join at the meeting.

Our guest speaker this month will be Dr Paul Martin. In May 2011 thirty Australians travelled to The Netherlands on a cycling tour to learn more about ‘cycling for everyone’. Paul Martin was one member of the tour and he will be sharing his experiences with us, highlighting some of the more memorable moments, discussing how the Dutch have achieved a cycling paradise and what we can learn from them.

  1. Great stuff! Paul is a great speaker and has a solid understanding of utility cycling issues….everybody listen to what he has to say!

  2. Chris says:

can’t make it due to childminding duties, but am keenly interested, especially in Northern Veloway discussion. Does CBDBUG have a page dedicated to this topic? Everything we know do far? Possible routes?

  3. Greg Coulter says:

When will Paul’s Dutch presentation be up on the site?
